When you install the App, we collect your Shopify store domain, shop name, and email address associated with your Shopify account. This information is used solely to authenticate and operate the App within your store.
Code Snippets
The code snippets you create and manage through the App are stored as Shopify metafields directly within your store's data. We do not store your snippet content on our own servers or databases.
Usage Data
We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data about how you use the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely to:
- Authenticate your store and maintain your session
- Save and retrieve your code snippets via Shopify metafields
- Process webhook events such as app uninstallation
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties.
4. Data Storage
Your code snippets are stored entirely within Shopify's infrastructure as shop metafields. We do not maintain an independent database of your store's content. When you uninstall the App, your session data is removed from our systems.
5. Third-Party Services
The App operates exclusively within the Shopify platform and does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services. Any third-party scripts you choose to add through the App are your own responsibility.
6. Merchant Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the code snippets you add through the App. Ensure that any third-party scripts you inject into your storefront comply with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA, and that you have obtained any necessary consents from your customers.
7. Security
We follow industry-standard security practices. All communication between the App and Shopify's API is conducted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed publicly.
8. GDPR Compliance
If you operate in the European Economic Area, you are responsible for ensuring that any scripts you deploy through the App comply with GDPR requirements, including obtaining proper consent from your store visitors for tracking and analytics scripts.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by Shopify merchants and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
